FAQ

Do I need a special license

No!

A regular Australian car drivers license is all you need.  During the booking process our booing process will clarify this.

They look huge... I don't think I could ever handle it

Yes the look big but with their automatic transmission they drive much like a car

We have many renters who have never driven anything larger than a small car and have fallen in love with it.

Just remember to look up as they are high and tree branches are probably the biggest thing to look out for.

Child Seats

Yes there are 2 mount points

Do I need to be plugged into powered camp sites?

Generally no as many of the systems (TV, lights, fridge, water etc) run on 12V batteries.  These are either charged via Solar Panels on the roof, while driving and while plugged into mains power

The Microwave, Air Conditioner and power points do require to be plugged into mains power to work.

What happens if there is an issue

We have roadside assist which may help get you on the road again

Can we do one way trips

Yes however we will need to arrange its return to us which works out at $1.80 per KM.  Chat with us to find out more

Is it Safe to Drive at Night

It is best to drive during the day and avoid dusk until dawn. Many animals are nocturnal or are more active when the sun is low and the temperature is cooler.
